You must be at least 16 years old to use ChefAI. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your profile and for keeping your credentials secure. Accounts must represent real people or real businesses of the gastronomy and hospitality industry. Impersonating others or creating fake accounts is not allowed. When you register you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.
ChefAI is a professional space. Content involving racism, hate speech, harassment, sexual content, violence, spam or misleading information is prohibited and may be removed. Repeated or serious violations can lead to temporary or permanent blocking of your account. Our AI content filter and moderation team review reported content.
You own the content you publish (posts, photos, videos, recipes, notes). By publishing it, you grant ChefAI a non-exclusive licence to store, display and distribute it within the platform so other members can see and interact with it. You can delete your content at any time.
The AI tools (recipe costing, KPI analysis, marketing content, HR insights, profile biography) generate suggestions from the data you enter. They are aids for your professional judgment, not a substitute for it, and their output may be inaccurate. Verify important business decisions independently. Results generated for you from your own inputs are yours to use; because AI output is not always unique, we cannot guarantee exclusivity over it, and you are responsible for checking that anything you publish does not infringe third-party rights.
Some profiles in the ChefAI feed are automated community personas whose posts and notes are generated with artificial intelligence. They are labelled as AI-generated inside the app, they are not real professionals, and their content must not be relied on as professional advice.
Only licensed music approved by ChefAI or uploaded by verified rights holders is available on ChefAI Sound. When uploading a song, you confirm you are the author or rights holder and grant ChefAI a licence to make it available within the platform. Music from ChefAI Sound is for use inside the platform only.
Job postings and marketplace listings must be genuine and lawful. ChefAI connects members but is not a party to any employment agreement or transaction made between members, does not verify members, and is not responsible for the outcome of those dealings — always verify the other party before closing a deal.
If you use the team tools to store information about your employees or other people, you confirm you have a lawful basis to do so and that you have informed those people. You remain responsible for that information.
The handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
ChefAI is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis; we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or losses arising from your dealings with other members or from your reliance on AI output. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
You may stop using ChefAI and request deletion of your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and we may discontinue or change parts of the service, giving reasonable notice in the app where practical.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you and ChefAI submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state. If a mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you stronger rights, those rights are unaffected.
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Significant changes will be communicated within the app. Continued use of ChefAI after changes means you accept the updated terms.
